From the very beginning the client was clear on their aspiration about the future apartment's interior: they are a young family with a little boy. Main principle we settled on: nothing extra - built-in wardrobes and handle-free kitchen, frameless recessed spotlights, moderate details and decoration. Emphasis is put on the unusual textures of facing materials and designer decorative lamps of "cosmic" shape (of such brands as Vibia, Fabbian and others).
Kitchen-lounge collage
Despite the modest area of the apartment, we managed to organize a common space for kitchen-lounge, a master bedroom and a kids room, also a separate laundry room. An olive hallway, square in plan and emphasized with a square suspensed ceiling downlighting, links the apartment rooms.
Basic color of the interior is warm light-gray, with a hint of coffee shade. Sophisticated green, mustard olive color is used as an additional accent. Interesting textures of decorative paint Oikos Ottocento and Arte wallpaper, applied behind a headboard, unobtrusively add up to the decorative play and diversity of strict functional minimalism.
A unified system of deep closets, shelves with a built-in bed niche and an integrated table in the kids room create a unique design and zone out the space at the same time. A geometric functional smart panel with openings allows to vary the shelves arrangement and disposition.
